Thoughts When my Alarm Goes Off for a Morning Workout

It was cold last night. There might be dangerous black ice on the road. I should play it safe and probably just stay here in bed.

It’s dark outside, and deer are outside. A deer outside in the dark might jump out in front of me and total my car. I couldn’t afford that, so I should probably just stay here in bed.

I don’t have any clean socks, and that would be disgusting. Cleanliness is next to Godliness, so I should just probably stay here in bed.

I think I’m going to start my period sometime soon. Cramps hurt me when I move, so I should probably just stay here in the fetal position in bed.

The instructor for Body Pump on Tuesdays is kind of a bitch. I hate bitches, so I should probably just stay here in bed.

*Pinches stomach* Eh, that’s pretty standard. If I don’t feel too fat, I should probably just stay here in bed.

*Pinches stomach the next morning* Oh my GOD, I’m such a whale. I’m a lost cause, so I should probably just stay here in bed.

When you gotta get up, you gotta get up!

You should join Crossfit. I never have those thoughts anymore! I used to have them every single day which is why I never went to the gym haha.

Pretty much me every damn morning, except I’m not even trying to get up early to workout, just get my ass to work. I’d love to say I have more motivation in the evenings, but it’s even less likely I will head out then as well. Stupid winter. (Yes, that will be my excuse & I’m sticking to it.)

All of these excuses are exactly why I don’t wake up early to workout! I just squeeze it in later when I can! Also – love that lasagna e-card. I may or may not make that my status sometime soon.

This is hilarious! I am exactly the same way. This entire winter I have told myself there may be black ice on the roads, so I can’t go to my 5:30 class. That one never fails to keep me in bed. Safety is MY priority!
