Planning my Dream Vacation

With a flight-attendant mom, the love of travel was instilled in me at a young age.

I blame it on the ability to fly to New York on a random Tuesday afternoon to get a happy meal, or having options like spending the day whale watching in Boston just because, or growing up with best friends who lived in Florida because visiting them was easy.

Free airfare makes the world a magnificent playground!

travelSadly, now that I’m 26, free airfare is no longer a reality. I can’t tell you how much that cramps my travel style 😉

So when I heard about the RCI and the Win Your Dream Vacation sweepstakes and the possibility of winning a vacation of up to $25,000 I was all up on it. Dude, they’re giving away 40 vacations for their 40th anniversary.

Um, yes please.

It was like the easiest thing ever to enter, because I got to create my dream vacation. Maybe it only took me less than 5 minutes because I have it all planned out.

Please, vacation gods, take me back to Europe.

europeIn 2010 I went backpacking throughout Europe with Cory and my brother and it was, hands down, one of the best experiences of my entire life.

(But seriously, go enter! It’s awesome, mood boosting, and SO EASY.)

I am so jealous of your backpacking experience! Although I am lucky enough to have gotten to explore Europe some, backpacking has been a dream of mine for awhile!

Nice pictures Colleen! I came home from Rome two weeks ago, so I especially like the Colosseum picture. It was mind boggling to stand inside of this 2000 year old stadium and think of everything that has happened there. I loved it!

    Good luck in the sweepstakes!
