What an important weekend I just had! My younger brother, Brian, graduated from college on Saturday afternoon! To say that I wanted to burst from pride is a slight understatement.

After the ceremony, we headed to one of Brian’s favorite restaurants, No Frill Bar and Grill. It was a cute little place right near campus. Before we took the time to peruse the menu, we ordered some drinks so we could cheers to the graduate.

After enjoying a glass of Riesling and watching Brian giggle while opening all of his graduation cards (really – he was giggling the whole time) it was time to order. I chose the teriyaki tuna pita and it was deeeelish. It was huge, too!

It was a delicious dinner and it was so great to spend time with my family celebrating something so great. When the bill came, as a little ‘graduation surprise,’ I said this one’s on me!

Thanks to my Serve account, I’m easily able to reimburse my family when they sign up for an account as well! It’s a quick, safe way to transfer funds online. I think the boys were pretty enthusiastic about the $10 credit they received just by signing up ;)

I was so thrilled to be able to take my family to dinner, and using Serve made it super easy.

You can’t tell by the glaring screens, but they were logged onto Serve

After dinner, we checked into the hotel before heading out to Hell’s Kitchen to have a few way too many drinks. It was such a great day celebrating a huge accomplishment. I’m so proud of my brother!

Let’s chat – What year did you (or will you) graduate from college? 2010 for me!

I haven’t graduated from college and probably never will. By choice though. ;) I went to cosmetology school and did hair for 5 years, taught hair color and then became a stay at home mama. Now I’m still home with my kids and have fun blogging.

Oh, and I have a Serve account! :)
