In third grade, I was given my first pet for my birthday. My parents surprised me with a hamster that I named Rose Bud (I was such a strange kid)
Not long after my birthday, Rose Bud bit the dust. Her funeral was a beautiful ceremony where we celebrated her months on planet Earth 😉
A few months later we got a pet-upgrade and adopted a dog, Jannie. Jannie had no trouble sniffing out Rose Bud’s casket, digging it up (we’re not professional grave-diggers) and bringing it into the house.
It was slightly traumatizing and I always held it against that dog 😉
As you can tell, real-live pets have never been my forte. I much preferred my tamagotchi – does anyone else remember those things?!
Needless to say, you can imagine my excitement when I was contacted to review a new iPhone app – Cube Dog.
I love this little app. I downloaded it for free (and so can you if you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch 4 with a camera) and once it was on my phone, I got crackin’ on picking out my dog’s name and color.
In a few short minutes, Lunchbox the Cube Dog was born.
I love this app because it brings me back to being a little girl who loved caring for virtual pets 😉 While it’s not an app that could entertain me for hours – it certainly put a smile on my face!
If you have the right Apple product, I’d recommend downloading it! Also, check out their Facebook page – they have a neat contest going on form June 13 -17
Have you downloaded this app? Would you?
