Guys – you won’t believe it.
I pulled into the parking lot at work yesterday afternoon, and guess what was tooling around in the middle of the road?
A sweaty shirtless old man riding on a John Deere.
Are you joking me?!
I was so flustered when I saw him that I was unable to snap a photo of his knockers flapping in the wind.
Attention all men: If you have bigger jugs than I do, please wear a bra or wear a shirt. It’s up to you, buddy. It’s up to you.
Back to my regularly scheduled post.
Once again, the blogging community saved me from busting out of my favorite pants.
Let me explain.
Last night I joined the fitblog chat on Twitter a little late in the game, but I’m glad I decided to join in when I did.
One question for discussion was along the lines of “What online tools do you use to help with your workouts?”
That was a no-brainer for me.
It’s so true, too. I’ve tried online workout logs and I’ve tried calorie trackers online, but they never stick.
The blogging community – now that’s a different story. When my alarm blares in the wee hours of the morning taking me out of a dream where I star as Rachel Barry on Glee – I’m a little perturbed.
I was just about to duet with Blaine. (Pun intended)
So I laid in bed trying to force myself back into a dream (ever tried that? never works.) I thought about not working out. I was tired. I worked out yesterday. I’m not Rachel Barry.
All totally legitimate reasons to discourage any normal person’s workouts, yeah? 😉
So that’s what I did. I made my way over to the gym for a 3-mile run on the treadmill.
Along with this guy.
I know, Stealth Blogger Award goes to me. I’m so flattered.
So if you’re apart of this community, thank you. Even if you don’t know it, you are a huge motivation for when I “just don’t feel like it” – and I genuinely appreciate you.
I hope you have a happy and healthy Wednesday!
Let’s chat –
I like the question from last night: What are some online tools that you use for health/fitness purposes?
Running vs Elliptical-ing?
