Friday Things

1. I am SO GLAD it’s Friday! If you read this blog and/or follow me on Twitter you know I’ve been loving on Pretty Little Liars real hard this past week. While I truly am obsessed with the show, the real reason I’ve been giving so much TLC to PLL is because Cory has been gone ALL WEEK.

And I’ve missed him. He’s the person who gets my weirdness. Without him to laugh with every day, I feel…weird.

2. We’re going to visit our best couple friends this weekend!

3. Do you have a friend whose laugh you just love? Emily sent me this picture from college that she found on her computer, and I genuinely smile every time I look at it because I can hear her laugh through the photo.

Ten bucks says she’ll text me about this, so let me say it: Emily has lost ~40 pounds since that picture was taken. And I’m proud of her!

5. My in-laws are super sweet and came to this side of town last night just to take me out to dinner because I’ve been alone all week. It was so appreciated!

6. I feel like a total tool saying this, but this weekend we’re boarding my wittle Campbell for this first time ever. I am so worried about it! Please someone tell me I’m normal.

Campbell is wary of children, just like me. (But we both ADORE this one 😉 )

7. It’s FRIDAY! Have a great weekend, my friends! :)

I’m a new blog reader, I really enjoy reading your blog! Anyway, I wanted to comment on the dog boarding. Whenever I have to board my two dogs, I have to admit its harder on me than them! They love it and don’t miss my husband and me one bit. Enjoy your weekend getaway!

Hi, Ali! First off welcome to the blog! 😉 Thank you so much for telling me that about your dogs! I’m so worried our dog is going to hate us when we pick him up on Sunday!

We had to board Bark when we went to Milwaukee last month. I checked the kennels webcam at least 10 times a day just to see if I could get a glimpse of him

#5 is so sweet. When I am out of town {rarely} my parents will have Gary over for dinner. I think they are afraid he will starve himself or just eat cereal for a few days.
Also, I used to get nervous boarding Sasha, but she LOVES being with the other dogs and is always sooooo happy to see us when we pick her up. You will survive. :)

Don’t worry, my family and I freak out about boarding our dog too. Especially because she’s a rescue just like Campbell! Enjoy you’re weekend :]

How sweet of your in laws! I’m also really weary of children, but somehow I’m really good with them which is funny for my friends who know me well. They know what’s being seen is the complete opposite of how I feel. 😉

Ummm I cried the first time I dropped Lucy off at the kennel. Like legit cried. So yes, this is completely normal as far as I’m concerned :). Your pup will have a blast, Lucy lovesssss going to her kennel and I even take her there for daycamp sometimes too! (Holiday Barn in Glen Allen – phenomenal place – can’t say enough good things!)

my dog is almost ten years old and we’ve never had to board him. i can’t imagine what we would do if we had to! if you’re ever looking for a dog/house sitter, i do it all the time 😉

That’s so nice that your in-laws took you out to dinner! I haven’t had a week away from Jordan since we’ve been married, but I’m kind of hoping it’ll be a long, long time before he has to take another business trip (I’ll be a baby when I have to be home alone). Luckily, he works for a family business, and his dad told him that it’s important that he doesn’t leave me for long chunks of time during our first year of marriage (compared to last year, where he look several week long trips) — I appreciated that his dad (my father-in-law) is looking out for me :)! Have a great weekend!

I love having amazing inlaws. :) I have never seen PLL and I’m nervous to start because I know I’ll be hooked. I know that I will crack one day, but I’m trying to prolong it.
