How is everyone doing?! Did Daylight’s Savings throw anyone off today? I was lucky enough to not have anything to wake up for, so it didn’t mean much to me this morning When I saw that it was 58 degrees outside I hopped out of bed and did the two mile loop around the lake in Cory’s parent’s neighborhood. It’s no marathon run, but it felt good to be outside.
Yesterday was full of more wedding planning. I guess you could say I was pretty excited about it (and the fact that it was warm enough to bear my pasty legs for the first time in months)
We went to the country club where our wedding reception is going to be held. I had to laugh when I realized we were spending time seriously debating between white vs ivory tablecloths. This is my life.
Once we were able to make a choice between the drastically different table cloth colors it was on to the main courses
Someone from the club was sitting with us as we ate (slightly awkward) so I was only able to snap a picture of the salmon. Ohmygawd. It was so delicious.
Cory had chicken stuffed with feta and spinach with a roasted red pepper sauce that was also divive, and we switched half way through
Later in the afternoon we headed out to my favorite fro-yo place, Sweet Frog. I’m usually a vanilla + my weight in rainbow sprinkles type girl, but my blogger BFF, Rachel told me to add in some PB flavor and I’m SO glad she did
I went to town with my fro-yo. Peanut butter, vanilla and cake batter flavors topped with rainbow sprinkles, almonds, white chocolate chips, and a few Oreo pieces Fro-yo has absolutely become my favorite treat. I may be obsessed.
We’re getting ready to head back home in a little bit, so I will catch up with you later! Enjoy this beautiful Sunday!
Let’s chat – What was the best thing you ate this weekend? What you’re favorite fro-yo flavor + toppings? Is the weather finally getting nice where you are?
