Drama Queen

When people say to me, “I think I want to go back to school and get my Master’s degree. What do you think?”

via

I often just reply with a simple “You’re out of your Goddamned mind.”

I want to say: You have a job. You have a full time paycheck. You have evenings to spend however you please. You don’t have to read journal articles until your eyes bleed. You probably feel like a full-grown adult. DON’T DO IT.

I’m being a drama queen because it’s the last two weeks of the semester.

This is where I live. The shackles and chains didn’t make it in to the photo, but believe you me – they’re there.

So this is where I’ll be for the next few days. If I don’t resurface in a few days, please alert the authorities.

And financial aid.

Haha I completly agree! I’m graduating next Monday with my Master’s, and it has not been an easy ride!! My boards are near the holidays, so I’ll also be living at the library until then. Hang in there! :)

Same thing. I feel so bad for the attitude I give people when they are just starting out the program and seek wisdom from the other side….”It sucks…go back now” —but I can’t help it! Monday night I will be free forever (I hope) so excited for free time, adult activities and time for a hobby. (Pinterest anyone?) ;)

Oh girl. Know what you mean, slash there is a large amount of coffee in my hand right now including my laptop and textbook. Crying. Kinda. I may not be getting my Master’s, but Syracuse is no joke. Mwah! Good luck chica! These last two weeks will FLY by.

    Hopefully.

That’s how I felt last semester, and the reason why I am content with my Bachelor’s degree for now :). This is random, but I believe I tried on your wedding dress when I went shopping yesterday! Alfred Angelo? I ended up choosing another one, but that was a top contender!

I hear ya! I know I’ll appreciate my Master’s when I have it – but sometimes I’m a big baby about it. And CONGRATULATIONS, Miss!! How exciting!! And yes, I did get my dress at Alfred Angelo :) I’m excited for you that you chose a dress!
