I feel that my face in this picture accurately depicts how I felt when my alarm went off this morning.
This morning started off differently than most mornings in my recent past: I actually woke up at 5:30 and got
my sorry ass myself to the gym.
It sucked and was rewarding all at the same time. How come it’s like that so often with workouts?
I completed this cardio workout I read about on Julie’s blog and it totally did the trick. The only tweak I made was that I started at 7.0 and worked up, rather than Julie’s 8.0 – whew!
I scooted back home after I finished my time on the treadmill and enjoyed my breakfast a la fresh air.
What? I just had liquid for breakfast?!
Don’t let looks deceive you, folks 😉 This morning I enjoyed overnight oats in a mug I could lie to you and tell you it’s because I’m just so creative and love switching up my breakfast scenery, but I ate out of a mug because all of our bowls are dirty.
I realized this at 10:00 last night and didn’t feel like a) hand washing one or b) running the dishwasher (because that’s so hard?)
Someone please tell me how to juggle work, a relationship, a social life, planning a wedding and keeping your mental health intact without falling short in one of the aforementioned categories.
Today I work and then I have to hightail it to the other side of town for volunteering. It lasts until 9:30 and that means I don’t get home until 10:30. I love my volunteer experience, but recently I’ve been dreading it because I have so much other stuff I could be doing during that time that I feel needs to get accomplished. Does that make any sense?
If you have any words of advice, please share them!
I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday, friends! I’ll catch ya later
PS – Did you catch my bachelorette party recap?! It.was.fabulous!!
