Raise your hand if you live on the east coast and you’re tired of hearing about Irene?
I don’t even want to get on Facebook, because 90% of my friend’s statuses are either taunting the hurricane or advising everyone to stay safe.
Not my mom, though. She’s convinced this hurricane is nothing but a little rain storm.
While it’s not raining quite yet, Cory and I are already in ‘rainy weekend’ mode. Last night involved more episodes of Beyond Scared Straight, and when Cory couldn’t stand that anymore – the real party started.
This morning I woke up and headed to the gym. I knew if I didn’t go first thing, Irene might deter me late in the afternoon.
I completed a three circuits two times each with max reps.
- Squats (10 pound dumbbell in each hand)
- Seated Rows (45 lbs)
- Push Ups
- In and out bicep curls (10 lbs)
- Tricep dips
- Squat jumps
- Lat pull downs (45 lbs)
- Back extensions
- 2 minute sprint
When I came home, I was craving a savory breakfast like nobody’s biznas. An egg and cheese bagel was just what the Hunger Doctor ordered 😉
Now I’m ready and waitin’ for Irene! Have a great Saturday, friends! (I don’t know why I can’t change my font size. This is really pissing me off.)
