Last night, with a palpitating heart, sweaty palms and extreme cotton mouth, I made a purchase.
I have been driving the same ’92 Honda Accord since my sophomore year of high school. For almost a decade (but not quite that long!) I’ve been crusin’ in LaFonda the Honda and loving it.
Clearly, (one of) my BFFs love LaFonda as much as I do.
As a creepy-people-precaution, I won’t be disclosing what kind of car I bought – but I can tell you it’s a 2012, it’s brand-spankin’-new, and I feel pretty good about it.
Well, until January 29th when my first payment is due.
Besides finding excuses to drive places today, I have two very important missions on the books.
Mission One - Finish THIS book

We are having our Ugly sweater party tomorrow night!! Ours does not have to be a Christmas sweater tho. I will tell you, if you go to the Salvation Army on 236 across from the Home Depot (message me if you details), they have some pretty bang-o-rang sweaters. Or if you check my blog post on the ugly sweaters, either Sunday or Monday, and you like one of them, I can hook you up with one. haha

My first car was a ’91 Chevy Blazer named Geoffery. My parents bought Geoffery from our mechanic and he came with black sparkly paint and a skinny pink stripe.

Yay!!! Congrats!!!!!! Having a brand spankin new car is sooooo awesome!!! I bought my 2005 when it was brand new and it was such an awesome feeling!! Love that new car smell and knowing I’m the only one that has set pre-sets on the radio. Yes I am weird and I got very excited about that when I set my radio stations for the first time!
Congrats!! New shiny cars are always super exciting. I got to drive around a rental car for a couple of days last month and I felt like a brand new person driving a new car around!

Sweeeeet! That’s exciting. I had a Firebird for my 1st car. I loved it, but then the hubs wrecked it last winter on some ice. I was super bummed, but at least it meant I got to go buy a new car. Woohoo!
Good luck finding a sweater. I got my tacky cotton turtleneck at Kohl’s. I’m surprised they still sell those things!

Woo hoo! Congrats on the new ride. My first car was the beast that I still currently drive. I call her The Green Machine. Hopefully she will be getting replaced in the near future.
My first car was a minivan, dubbed The Love Machine by my best friend. I was “band mom” instead of a soccer mom, and drove all my friends home after marching practice. Good times.
