Happy weekend, my friends! Maybe it’s this dreary weather, but the week has totally dragged on for me – anyone else?
It’s fine though, because in a few hours, it’ll be totally acceptable to be in comfy pants for an extended period time, and then all will be right with the world. (AMIRIGHT!?)
I have a date with my Sister Wives best friends tonight and I couldn’t be more excited. Speaking of those two, I found some pretty ridiculous pictures of us on Facebook last night. Our House Hunters producer needed pictures of Cory and I from college, so I revisted 2006 – 2010 in Facebook photos and came across these gems:
We haven’t changed much in the last five or six years, huh?
Switching topics (it’s Friday – I’m allowed to be all over the place.) Because I’m a fan of transparency, I wanted to take a few lines to tell you about a new campaign I’m apart of. I was asked to be apart of the #Troop8X team, which is a group of bloggers asked to review the new Windows #HTC8 phone (we’re asked to put those hash tags in any post in which we reference the phone.)
Content and/or other value provided by our partner, HTC.
I was given the phone for free. I have not been monetarily compensated in any way, other than the product itself. I will be posting about the phone now and then, and I’ll be tweeting about it, too. But please know that I intend to be honest and genuine, as I always promise to blog with integrity.
If I like it, I’ll let you know. If I don’t like it, I’ll let you know that, too. I hope I have your support!
Have a great weekend, ladies and gents! Stay warm!
Let’s chat – What kind of cell phone do you have? (I’m just curious)

I have an iPhone (a 4 I think?). I’ve had it for years and my life (sad, I know), is all programmed in it. I thought about doing the review, too, but just couldn’t part with instagram. I actually look forward to your honest reviews, though! So no need to apologize
I honestly didn’t know that Instagram wasn’t available until I tried to download it! I’ll admit, I did pout about it for a bit, but I’m still giving it a fair shot!
I have an iPhone 4s. I just joined the world of smart phones last fall. I’m late to the party, I know. I love it, but it’s so addicting!
Love that you blog with integrity! And I have an iPhone 4s. Kinda sad, but I don’t know what I would do without it…haha!
I hear you!! I feel so lost trying to figure out a new phone! It’s pretty intuitive, but I’ve had my other phone for so long that it was like I didn’t ever have to think while using it haha!
That’s cool you got a free phone
I have the Galaxy S 2
I love it
A fun opportunity for sure! If anything, an opportunity to play with a different phone for a little while though not sure I could part with my iPhone.
I know, it was definitely tough to part with my iPhone – but I thought it’d be fun to see the “other side” and see how I like it!
You stay warm as well Colleen. I heard of the snow VA is getting. That is neat about the phone and cannot wait to see what you end of thinking of it.
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S3 from a phone with a slide out keyboard and no internet capability. Can anyone say Welcome to 2013!? I love this phone! The only downside is that it is very large, not in depth, but in width. I can’t even complain about the size too much though, because I really do love the HUGE screen.
I got my first iPhone in September and I love it! (Reaaalllll original, yeah?)
I have a non smart samsung phone. No idea what it is called. Every once in a while, I feel like I should jump on the smart phone bandwagon but I still haven’t done it yet.
I have an iPhone and I love it! I’ve heard good things about the HTC phones though!
I just can’t wait for your house hunter episode to happen.
This week has been long for me too. As for cell phones, I have an iphone and I love it
I look forward to my lazy clothes every single weekend too
Hey Colleen when does your episode of house hunters air??
Hey, Alex! We haven’t heard yet
By the way it looks, it might not be until the end of summer! We’re QUITE bummed about that!
